PRESS RELEASE: Bayview Baptist Candystripers bring their donation to LOLC - San Diego

Light One Little Candle – San Diego was again gifted with the extraordinary measures of fourteen special young women from Bayview Baptist Church of San Diego. The 'Candystripers' of Bayview Baptist conducted a book drive to support Light One Little Candle - San Diego's cause to keep their Book Cart stocked and full. From fairytale classics, to the latest popular chapter books, Candystripers Samantha Halliburton, Jazell Carter, and Annissa Asbill assisted LOLC - San Diego co-director Patricia Freund and Bayview Baptist Candystriper Coordinator Shirley Lipscomb at Moores UCSD Cancer Center to distribute their collected gifts to caregivers stricken with cancer. It was a moving and rewarding day for all involved. Light One Little Candle thanks all Bayview Baptist Candystripers for their time and involvement with their Light One Little Candle – San Diego book drive.
